Geology : sandy alluvium on marly limestone.

Grape varieties : Mourvèdre 90% Grenache 10%

Growing techniques: traditional cultivation, the soil is ploughed, no chemical weed control or fertilizer, The vines do not undergo any systemic or insecticide treatments, except for essential treatments against downy mildew and powdery
mildew. The sail is ploughed into mounds around the base of the vines in the winter and retumed to the space between the vines in the spring, excess growth is removed from the base of the vines, followed by pollarding and green harvesting: a lot of work is carried out in the vineyard. The grapes are harvested by hand into crates and sorted in the vineyard and again in the winery.
Yield : 35 ta 40 hl/ha
Vinification: long maceration, maturing for 18 months in 50 hl oak casks.
Characteristics : a dense, structured wine that can be laid down for a long time; intense gamet colour with hints of deep purple. Fine bouquet offers good aromatic complexity with notes of blackcurrants and redcurrants.
Full-flavoured on the palate with a silky, satiny structure supported by plump, refined tannins.
